Taken 3 August 2006 from Valencia - VLC to New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFK
I have flown regularly with Iberia the last 8 years. 50% of my trips, they have managed to lose my luggage, but delivered to my residence within the next 2 days. (I think is the the 45 minute transfer time in Madrid between connecting flights) The experience of the flight depends on the plane. The newer fleet has nice seats with individual entertainment consoles while the older fleet lacks this. The food is acceptable for airline food. The F/A are generally friendly. I have noticed the fares have really gone up in the last couple years. Almost double on certain dates compared to couple of years ago. If you can get a decent fare, I would recommend trying Iberia, but do be careful about short connecting flights (Most likely you will make it, but your luggage will not). |
