Taken 17 June 2007 from Dublin - DUB to Burgas (Bourgas) - BOJ

Was looking forward to this holiday as I had never been to Bulgaria before. I researched Aviajet, but was not impressed with what I read however I was in for a real surprise.

The check-in staff were not very helpful, but the welcome from the cabin crew was very pleasant. The aircraft was very old, but we enjoyed the novelty of boarding through steps that came out the back of the plane. We were delayed by just 10 minutes, but arrived in Bulgaria on time.

On the out-bound flight the cabin crew were all foreign, but spoke very good and clear English. The service was basic, but well conducted.

On the return flight there was one English male cabin crew who stood out, he was very caring and professional and ensured the entire cabin was prepared for take-off whilst taking time to attend to certain passengers requests for help with their baggage. I could clearly see that he enjoyed what he did and was very confident in his position.

There was a slight delay whilst we waited for our luggage, but overall a lovely experience.

I would certainly fly with Aviajet again.
