First time I have flown Japan Airlines and I thought it was very good. I especially liked the entertainment system, most notably on the flight to BKK since it even had language lessons.

I flew from DFW to NRT on American Airlines and then transfered to Japan Airlines for the rest of the trip to BKK. I thought American Airlines was very good, but Japan Airlines were better, mainly because the Japan Airlines' entertainment systems were better.

My only complaint about Japan Airlines was their food. I was given, for example, an American breakfast even though I wanted to try the Japanese breakfast. And the American breakfast was a rather bizarre mixture of high fat foods that was largely inedible.

But other than the food, I though Japan Airlines was excellent.
