Taken 24 June 2007 from Melbourne, Victoria (Tullamarine International Airport) - MEL to Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) - MNL

I embarked on a 4 week overseas trip to Europe and was lucky to discover the best Business Class deal with PAL and KLM (See other review for Manila-Amsterdam-Manila). I flew Melbourne-Manila-Melbourne.

PAL use their A330's from Australian cities to Manila and their Business Class product (Mabuhay Class) is outdated. Despite this, their service is just excellent. Their cabin crew are friendly, efficient and always professional.

I have always read that PAL's food is excellent and this is very true. Passengers were well fed and watered throughout the whole flights.

Sadly, PAL needs to seriously update their seats in Business Class. Despite a very large seat with Private Screens, they do provide adequate comfort. I found it very difficult to get comfortable. Their A330's provide a very comfortable seat configuration of 2-2-2, up the front.

I really enjoyed my flying experience with Philippine Airlines and will definately fly with them again. I only hope they update their business class product because their inflight services are just excellent.
