Home > Aer Arann > ReviewTaken 3 August 2007 from Dublin - DUB to Killarney/Kerry County - KIRWe travelled down from Belfast to fly direct to Kerry from Dublin for a week's stay in Killarney. The flight which took about 40 minutes was on a brand new ATR 72-500. Departure was about 25 minutes later than scheduled and the cockpit crew did not address the passengers at any time between boarding and disembarkation. All we heard from the pilots was 'cabin crew seats for take-off', 'cabin crew 10 minutes to landing' and 'cabin crew seats for landing'. However, the flight attendants were very pleasant and quickly served cold drinks as soon as some initial 'lumpiness' had settled down. The flight provided some lovely views of the countryside and despite some strong gusts at Kerry the approach was reasonably smooth. Luggage was unloaded quickly and we were soon in a taxi on our way to our hotel. | ||
