Taken 28 August 2007 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Dubai - DXB

London to Dubai via Doha. first sector overnight on an A340-600. Seats are very comfy with ample leg room and helped by the fact I had no one next to me. The aircraft itself is really quiet too.

Dinner comprised tuna starter, choice of 3 mains plus apple pie, cheese and crackers. All well cooked, but the quantity of food was not large.

A small breakfast of fresh fruit, juice and a danish was served 1 hour before landind.

AVOD excellent including live TV news. Their were two passes with hot towels and drinks are available from the galley areas throughout.

Brief transit at Doha before a short 45 minutes hop on an A330. Another breakfast, but this time a strange combo of a roll filled with sandwich spread, a cake topped with almonds, fruit juice and a kit kat bar.

Both flights were punctual, but let down slightly by the cabin staff who very rarely if ever smile. they do their tasks efficiently, but not with great warmth (that includes their airport and city office staff).

A good solid economy product.
