Taken 5 September 2007 from Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport) - LAX to Zurich (Zurich-Kloten) - ZRH

The flight was operated by an A340-300 which was rather old, but well kept. The individual screens were of good size and the entertainment on demand program was adequate, albeit below Emirates or Singapore Airlines standards. On the minus side, the system was switched on after the plane reached cruising altitude and switched off again prior to descend thereby rendering the forward and downward looking cameras more or less useless.

The seats were cramped as is the case with most airlines these days and the meals below average. We landed hard at Zurich on time and bags were promptly transfered to our connecting flight.
