Taken 20 September 2007 from Amsterdam (Schiphol) - AMS to Quito (Mariscal Sucre) - UIO
This was a return flight Amsterdam Quito. The plane was a rather old MD 11, although it seemed to be in a good shape. At least the cabin seemed to be well maintained. The seat pitch in economy class was very tight. Food was edible and you could get alcoholic beverages free of charges. There was no personal IFE. The flight attendants were reasonably friendly. Overall an average experience, but it is hard to find a really good airline on Europe - America destinations. I would judge KLM better than the North American Airlines and of course better than Iberia, but still it is not a really comfortable airline. |
