In terms of punctuality, the flight landed early into Rhodes, the pilots kept us posted throughout the flight. The cabin crew were in good spirits. They made a point of the fact that Flyjet was closing down and so had a little guess the combined age of the crew competition as they walked individually down the aisle, and there were a few nice personal remarks over the intercom from the purser, which got a round of applause from the passengers. The hot meal was very good, and they had the usual choice of bar drinks on the sale. The main problem was the condition of the cabin. It was very tatty in places; one of my arm rests was held together with sticky tape and my table wouldn't stay upright all the time. The smell from the toilets wasn't altogether pleasant either. I know there have been some horror stories about Flyjet, but I can only judge them on what I experienced for myself, and it wasn't the worst flight I had. | ||
