Taken 3 October 2007 from Barcelona (Aeropuerto Transoceanico de Barcelona) - BCN to Mahon (Menorca), Balearic Islands - MAH
Flew to Menorca from the UK via Barcelona. We had to get from Teminal A to Terminal B which is not so bad and check-in with Air Europa there. Check-in was quick and efficient and the agent cheerful. Had seats in Row 7 of B737-800 EC-IVV, which sported a Caroche advertisement on the side. The front four rows were divided from the rest of cabin by a curtain. All the seats were rather bulky new blue leather, which seemed to be ill-fitting width wise, but leg room was fine. The Crew uniform is a little different with denim jeans and a pinkyblue striped shirt and some crew wore jackets and neckscarves. The flight was only 30 minutes in each direction and we were given a sweet during the descent. No other service was performed on the route. Return was more or less same service and crew wise however this B737-800 EC-HBM seemed a little older and had very low blue fabric seats and practically no legroom. This plane however did have drop down screens which showed the safety demo which the outward plane did not. Overall a prompt speedy and cheap service, very good. |
