I fly Horizon Airlines between Billings, Montana and Portland, Oregon and back because it is the only airline to offer non-stop service between these cities. I have other choices of airlines (Delta, United) and even a closer airport (Cody, WY) but use Horizon for many reasons. First, of course the non-stop, second the knowledge that my luggage will be there when I land. Third, the 'ala carte' service is nice for items you don't want to carry on or check in and they will be waiting for you when you get off. The aircraft are nice, the cabin crew friendly and attentive and the aircraft comfortable and quiet. One time when returning from Portland I got to fly on a brand new 70 Passenger Canadair Regional jet. VERY quiet, I slept most of the way home. I enjoy the inflight magazine and especially the in-flight surveys to fill out to win tickets. When I last flew, I thought I had left a disposable camera on the aircraft and the nice people even returned my call in regards to that. When deplaning in Portland I like the fact that I can deplane through the back door of the aircraft. When I deplane in Billings I like the fact that the jetway was connected to the aircraft. The only complaint I had about my flight back from Portland was that the boarding area was so noisy that I almost missed my flight and had to run to catch the plane. I would definitely recommend this service (and have) to anyone wanting and smooth and comfortable flight between Billings and Portland. p.s. I still want to win those 2 round trip tickets!!!
