Flight CHC-AKL: Operated by Airbus A320-200. Flight left at scheduled time and arrived 5 minutes early. Service consisted of tea/coffee/mineral water and sweets as on all Air New Zealand domestic services. The A320 is an extremely quiet aircraft with comfortable leather seats and great leg room. Crew a little bit aloof, but professional and efficient. Flight AKL-CHC: Operated by Boeing 737-300. Flight departed about 10 minutes after scheduled departure, but arrived on time. There was, however, no announcement made at the gate as to why this was. Seating reasonably comfortable, but leg room a little less than the A320. Service consisted of Buy-On-Board trolley and then complimentary tea/coffee/mineral water. Cabin crew on this flight really friendly and out-going. I cannot comment on value as these flights were paid for by my employer. | ||
