Home > US Airways Express > ReviewTaken 5 December 2007 from Indianapolis, IN (Indianapolis International Airport) - IND to New York, NY (La Guardia Airport) - LGAFlight left on time at 6 am despite heavy, wet and accumulating snow in Indy that morning. Our first plane made two attempts to take off, but a malfunction forced a change of planes. The aborted take offs made me feel very uneasy, but my son and I were glad to simply leave that aircraft. This delayed our flight for more than 2 hours. Chaos can best describe the situation inside the terminal, and the gate agents assisting us getting on alternate flights simply were not prepared or trained for the task. Once in the air after changing aircraft, the flight was smooth all the way to NYC, and the flight crew was simply awesome. Would fly US Airways again, but would recommend that this airline train their ground staff to handle contingencies better. They are bound to happen again. | ||
