Taken 9 September 2007 from Auckland (International) - AKL to London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR
Having had pleasant memories on a number of occasions with Singapore Airlines I was rather disappointed this time. One of our party of three was recovering from a broken ankle so we had three of the four legs of the journey in seats at the front of a section in Economy which was good - although there was no footrest for these seats. The remaining leg - home from London to Singapore on a 747 - was hell. We were in seats several rows back from the front of the section and had very little leg room, any of us. Passengers in the row in front of us lowered their seats and slept, but this meant that we could not comfortably view our TVs, and it was difficult for the passengers in the middle and window seats to get up if need be as it was impossible to stand upright. The staff were polite and courteous (although clearly very busy) and the plane was clean and tidy. |
