What a shame Air Berlin do not fly to more destinations from the UK. This was the first time I have flown in 18 years and for my wife it was her first flight ever. Air Berlin should be proud of their service if our trip was anything to go by. From the second we stepped onto the plane we were met by a cheerful, polite and professional crew. The complimentary sweets and newspapers were a nice touch as was the in flight sandwich and drink. Lots of clear info provided by the crew and captain throughout the short flight. Flew on a 737/800.I am 6ft 4 and found the seating sufficient enough for my legs. Both flights left and arrived on time. In fact, the return journey came in about 20 minutes early. My wife is disabled and the care and support shown by Air Berlin was nothing, but brilliant. Even better for me was the price. As I booked 2 months in advance I got a really good deal. I shall be visiting family a couple of times a year in Germany and unless they withdraw the service from Manchester, Air Berlin will be my first choice every time. I would highly recommend them to anyone flying to Germany. |
