This was a last minute business trip, so it was only booked a few weeks in advance, however the air fare was very reasonable at only £157 for a return flight.

Check in at Heathrow was straight forward, with the self check in machine. As the flight was only about 50% full, I was able to get a window seat on the two seat side of the aircraft. Security was a bit slow as there are several long hauls flights departing Terminal 3 at midday.

Boarding was quick, and the flight crew greeted each person on boarding. The seat was the standardised SAS seats, which are very comfortable. However I was also able to secure an exist row, which had lots of legroom.

The in-flight service was the sky café, I was able to buy a muffin and drink, which was reasonable for buy onboard food. The rest of the flight I just relaxed and watch the world pass by.

The flight departed a few minutes behind schedule, but arrived on time. This was good as I was able to make the last direct train to Borlange.

Overall a very good flight, with the exit row really making a difference.

The return flight on the 6th Jan, was a very similar experience, however when I checked in using the self service kiosks, there was one seat left a middle row seat. However this is not too bad on the SAS, flights as the seats are quite comfortable. Got skipped over by the cabin crew with the newspapers as well, but other than these small irritations the flight was good.

The took off and landed on time again, and again I bought something from the sky café, a sandwich and drink which was quite tasty. The flight crew kept us up to date through out the flight.

Overall another flight, comfy seats and a great crew. Only let down was the seat selection and being passed over for newspapers.
