Home > Air Transat > 2007 > ReviewTaken 19 December 2007 from Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ to Glasgow, Scotland (Abbotsichn) - GLAOur return flight was a just a Average Return flight, but we had made good headway because of Tail winds helping us get there ahead of time. Sadly though upon our early arrival we had to sit for 4 Hrs. on the Tarmac waiting for Glasgow BAA Ops to sort out a Disembarking policy. During the night one of there Gantrys had become damaged and was unusable, and as such because of High winds and there not having a High enough set of steps they could not Off load the whole of flight TS224. With little or few updates we were kept in the dark about progress. I should add that whilst we were waiting we did observe plenty of flights Loading and Off loading around us, with no ill effects or safety issues caused by High Winds. So Whose to blame I ask myself. Not us say Transat as they were at the mercy of BAA. So BAA! I think you need to come clean and appologise for making us wait so long. It might also have been fitting for you try and expedite a swifter migration through the Passport and immigration checkpoints, and to then have us wait for our luggage, well that was just Injury added to Insult. | ||
