My main grouse with US Airways Express is the non existant communication.

We flew Elmira to Denver round trip. Although the flights were booked 4 months in advance the flights were changed so often that we lost our original seat assignments and in fact on check in at Denver were told we were on standby

Each of the four flights left over an hour late.

The final straw was sitting on a cramped and very full Canadair Regional Jet for an hour before it moved from the gate. We obviously were not waiting for more passengers as we were the very last to board and take the last 2 seats.

There was no explanation let alone apology for the delay which is pretty hard to accept given the late hour (midnight)

The 40 minute flight took about an hour as the plane broke off its final approach and went round again. Once again no explanation.

From once landed it took 30 minutes to rerieve our bags as there was only one bagggage handler on duty at 1am

Amateur service indeed. Chatauqua Airlines should be ashamed of themselves.
