Home > First Choice Airways > 2008 > ReviewTaken 9 March 2008 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Monastir (Skanes) - MIRBoth flights were operated by older 757-200s, which clearly showed their age on the inside. Service, however, was very good. On both journeys I hadn't pre-ordered a vegetarian meal, but was able to get hold of one anyway. Captains' announcements were good, with flight information etc. Did not bother with the IFE as the screens were old and flickering, and the films didn't look too great. I don't think anyone in our group (about 40 people) seemed to bother with the IFE. Food was actually very good... especially the desserts. If you see the chocolate and vanilla pudding in your tray/box thing then you're in for a treat! Seats weren't the worst I've experienced amongst UK charter airlines, but were still rather hard. Seat pitch was very very tight, and I can only be grateful that the person in front never reclined into my lap! Overall, I believe our flights were fairly cheap. The material aspects of the plane weren't too great, but the onboard service, food and staff made up for it as far as I'm concerned! | ||
