The flight was part of a trip from Shannon to Stockholm, with the return leg from Arlanda to Paris on SAS and then back to Shannon on Air France. I choose SAS on the return journey as the flight times were more convenient than the Air France flight, despite the SAS flight being more expensive. I have used SAS in the past but this flight was disappointing, compared to other flights. On check in despite checking in 4 hours prior to the flight, I got the last seat on the plane, which was a middle seat. The staff were okay on the flight, but I was overlooked on the in flight café service, with the crew member serving the Swedish couple next to me, but when I went to order, she advised me to hold on as she collected something from the galley and then skipped me on her return, coming back and moving the trolley a few rows down the aircraft. The positives of the flight, again SAS has a good seat pitch, and the plane is clean and comfortable. The flight departed and landed on time, however SAS do operate out of CDG terminal 1, which is not the nicest of terminals, and very much the poorer cousin compared to CDG 2. Overall an okay flight from SAS, but not up to their usual standards, with the crews and in-flight service not as good as Air France or previous SAS flights I have taken, I will give SAS a try again in the future, but they won't be my first preference. | ||
