Taken January 2000 from Chendra to Kampchatka

The pilots were both drunk, and it was a miracle we even managed to get from A to B safely. A bribe was necessary to even get us on the flight, and we had to share the cabin with a flock of chickens and a small collection of other farm animals.

A number of the seats were tied-down to the floor of the ageing Tupolev Russian aircraft with tape. Unfortunately it is the only operating airline in the region, so you have no choice but to fly this airline. Although the cabin staff were very nice.
