Taken 28 April 2008 from Lisboa (Lisbon) (Aeroporto da Portela de Sacavem) - LIS to Funchal, Madeira - FNC
We took the first Sata flight of the day to Funchal, at 07h30. Check-in in Lisbon was fast and smooth. The ground staff was silent but very professional and polite. Boarding was on time. We flew on a A320-214, only 3 years old. The plane was very clean, the leather seats were very comfortable and the seat pitch was good. We took off on time. Cabin crew were very polite and professional but they could smile a little bit more. The In-Flight Entertainment consisted only of the airshow (maps of our journey, speed, etc, on the overhead screens) but it was adequate. There was also the airline magazine, of course. The meal was the usual sandwich, with a fruit salad and a drink, all packed on a very beautiful box. It was cold but tasty. There were two rounds of drinks. We landed ahead of schedule in Funchal due to tail winds and we only waited 2 minutes for our luggage! Remarcable! It was a pleasant experience that made me want to fly with them again. |
