I have avoided flying them for over ten years but as they have now taken over British Mediterranean who operate this route to Tehran, there was little choice and they were hard to avoid. And they have no idea of just how rubbish they are... Without exception, the UK crew from check-in at Heathrow to cabin crew on both sectors were lazy, aggressive, uninterested and unhelpful. The lead flight attendant on the return trip from Tehran looked as if he had just dragged himself from the dance clubs of Vauxhall. The exception was the check-in staff in Tehran who were excellent - obviously they were local Iranians who have yet to be poisoned by BMI training. There is a rumour that they might be taken over by Lufthansa or Virgin but hopefully they will go broke first and the staff will be rightfully employed at MacDonalds. Next time I will take Iran Air. | ||
