Between March and April this year, I flew six return trips from Galway to Dublin with Aer Arann - each time taking the 7.45am flight from Galway and returning on the 22.30 Dub-Gly flight. On each occasion the trip was very pleasant and in fact each of the six late evening flights left Dublin early (i.e. if all the passangers were early, the plane left early - once it left 25 minutes early and we were nearly back in Galway before it was scheduled to depart Dublin!!). All the staff were very pleasant and each time I received my return boarding card when I checked-in for my morning flight. The actual flight time is very short - 30/35 minutes so it is possible to put up with the cramped cabin conditions. Everyone gets a free newspaper but you hardly have time to read it. All in all a very good service for a good price (I paid between 25 and 49 euros for each flight) My only suggestion for Aer Arann would be an online check-in facility so people like me with no luggage do not have to queue.
