Taken 22 June 2008 from Shannon, Ireland - SNN to London (Stansted) - STN

Return flight booked one week in advance for €197 return, which is expensive for Ryanair.

Check in was quick at Shannon, with only a few people in the queue ahead of me, despite this the flight was full (most people having opted for the Internet check in), I was still able to get a window seat when I boarded the aircraft.

Flight took off and landed on time, the crew where kept busy with the selling of food, scratch cards and gifts through out the flight. Seating is fine for the one hour flight to Stansted, with not a lot of leg room, but still comfortable. The flight landed ahead of time and baggage was delivered within 15 minutes of arrival.

Return flight was a similar experience, check in was very quite, with only one desk and no one in the queue (unlike the Bydgoszcz check in desks and a really long queue), was hoping for a quite flight back to Shannon, however like most flights it was again full. Took my seat which had papers and wrappers on the floor (Ryanair, don’t seem to allow any time for cleaning on the tight turn around times).

Flight again operated on time, and crew were very good on this flight, and even did a greeting in Gaelic on the flight, the flight crew made announcements through out the flight on the route being flown and thanks us for flying Ryanair. The flight again landed ahead of time, the only down side is the annoying “on time” announcement with the trumpets.

Overall two good flights, both flight ahead of time and a smooth flight each way. The fare was a bit expensive, but considering the time line prior to booking, it was not overly priced. Service was what you expect from Ryanair, sell, sell and more sell, but that is what you expect from Ryanair.
