Home > Jet2 > 2008 > ReviewTaken 29 June 2008 from Leeds/Bradford - LBA to Paphos (International) - PFOThe flight was extremely cheap but my booking was made 10 months beforehand. A friend had paid more than the scheduled airlines charge so he could fly from Leeds. Check-in at Leeds could only be described as organized chaos. Nine Jet2 flights checking in at the same time at the same desks meant over 90 minutes in the queue, we had been forewarned and arrived well early at the airport but were not allowed to join the queue until 2 hours before the flight. Passage through security was not too bad and once on board, the flight and service could only be described as superb, although £6.50 for a breakfast consisting of a sausage, tiny omelette and breadroll was a bit on the expensive side. Departure was about 35 minutes late but we made the time up and arrived on time. Check in at Paphos for the return flight was acceptable, but one gets the impression that the airport is bursting at the seams. Allegedly a new terminal is opening late 2008, it is well needed. Departure was about 45 minutes late for ATC reasons, and headwinds meant the lateness could not be regained. I travel to the north of Cyprus, this flight was an experiment but I'm afraid it will be back to THY in future. | ||
