Home > Jet2 > 2008 > ReviewTaken 18 August 2008 from Leeds/Bradford - LBA to Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands - PMIWe did the on line check in for the first time with Jet2. We found it to be very easy - arrived at LBIA, dropped out bags at the dedicated bag drop and went straight through security. Our flight was planned for 15.00, but at 14.30 they announced a new estimated departure time of 16.00. We then were called at 15.50 for boarding and had to walk to a remote stand in the pouring rain. The boarding seemed to take an age. We eventually took off at 16.55, just short of 2 hours behind schedule. The plane, an old Boeing 757 200 series, looked tired and worn out, and leg room was very tight. The cabin crew were very cheerful and service was good. The pilot's announcements were a waste of time - you just could not hear them. We bought a sausage and mash meal for £5 inc bread roll and cheese and crackers, and it was OK. Rest of the prices like most other airlines were quite dear. We had a uneventful flight and landed in Mallorca 2 hours late, disembarked quite quickly, but then waited nearly a hour for our bags to arrive. So it was around 21.30 when we left Palma airport instead of 18.30 | ||
