We went straight to the bag drop and were off through security even before the rest of the lanes had opened to check other passengers in. We were told of a delay of around 1 hour. We eventually boarded 1 hour late and the aircraft, a Boeing 757 200 series, was in better condition than the one that we came on. Leg room again was tight, but it is a low cost airline. The cabin crew were very grumpy and were not as helpful as the outgoing crew. The captain's announcements were loud and clear, and she kept us well informed of the route etc etc. We did not get a meal, but about 30 minutes before landing they announced they had meals left that could be purchased at half price £2.50p, making them very good value. So remember if traveling on the last flight of the day with Jet 2, they auction off the left over food. We landed at LBIA still 1 hour behind, and were bussed to the terminal. We again had to wait around 40 minutes for our baggage. Considering we were the only flight at the time, I thought that was poor service. I would fly with Jet2 again, but must stress we have had 2 lots of return flights with them in 2 years, and both lots had over a hour's delay outbound and inbound. | ||
