Taken 9 August 2008 from Goteborg (Gothenburg) (Landvetter) - GOT to Stockholm (Arlanda) - ARN

Flight SK158 operated by a 737-600

One way flight from Gothenburg to Arlanda, which I booked a month in advance, the cost of the flight was a bargain at about €60.

Check in at Landvetter airport was quick and easy with the self check in service, although it was a bit unusual not been offered a boarding pass. I went back to another machine to print one off, just to be on the safe side. I then went to the bag drop desk, where the agent took a scan of a finger and I was advised I would need to scan the same figure at the boarding gate to board.

Security was quick as there was no queue; the domestic area of Landvetter is small, luck I was departing on a large aircraft as there was a lounge upstairs where the SAS and Malmo Aviation flights depart from.

Boarding was a bit chaotic as people queued all over the place, however the queues did move quickly, and I was able to just give a finger print to board.

The aircraft was in very good condition, clean, lots of storage space for bags and not too cramped. The flight itself was uneventful and smooth and was only about 50 minutes. The crew did the in-flight bar service after take off and the captain gave an update about 15 minutes prior to landing.

The flight landed on time at Arlanda at terminal 4. Overall a good flight for a good price, much better than the other SAS flights I have taken during the past year.
