The outward flight was only 20 minutes late and we still landed slightly early in Murcia. The pilot kept us updated with expected flight duration and any expected turbulence from the headwinds we encountered. The cabin crew were smartly dressed and smiled throughout the flight. Their service was friendly and efficient.

On the return journey the pilot was again good with his communications to ourselves. We took off 5 minutes early and landed half an hour early at Birmingham. We were boarded slightly earlier than usual to ensure that we were able to be seated without being pushed into our seats and rushed as experienced with other airlines previously because of this.

The cabin crew were once again polite and friendly and immaculately dressed. I cannot comment on the normal seat pitch as I was seated in the extra leg room seats which had fantastic legroom, I couldn't touch the seat back of the seat in front if I stretched my leg out so the extra leg room was well worth the money that we paid. Overall a very pleasant flight and I would not hesitate to fly with Monarch in the future.
