Booked a late package deal (short break mon - fri) arived at doncaster to check in and no queue. we was asked if we wanted to pay for extra leg room seats we declined.while booking they did want to charge us to sit together 3 of us we again declined.

When we checked in it took less than 2 minutes. we found we was sat together anyway so saved money.we went through security and that took around 10 minutes with hardly any queues.

Airside at doncaster is not very good but we sat in weathersppons and had a drink.

That's when we noticed there was not many people around,our flight was called at 17.10 and by 17.30 we was airborne on thompsonflys 737.800.we had leather seats with plenty of room and best of all only 49 people on board.we asked the stewardess could we move to extra leg room seat and she agreed so more money saved.they sold earphones for the ife glad we didn't buy them has only 2 half hour shows were shown.they announced they were not coming round with trolley just to push your button if you needed anything.all the flight attendants were very nice and pleasant.

We landed at palma 1 hour early but like usual we waited over 1.hour 20 minutes for our cases.

The return journey was not so smooth we arrived at palma airport 3 hours before our flight to find the biggest queues you can imagine.thompsonfly was using 2 desks to check 6 flights in it was total chaos flights were closing and staff were shouting out people were getting agitated it took 2 hours to check in.

Security was no better took another half hour the plane was on stand when we got to gate and was called to board at 20.55 for a 21.20 take off boarding was like a cattle market with people pushing.

We got on board a old 737 200 it was worn and unclean but flight attendants were nice and pleasant a smooth uneventful flight with a 40 minute early landing in doncaster.

We had our cases and was leaving airport less than 20 minutes after landing great service.
