Home > EasyJet > 2008 > ReviewTaken 28 October 2008 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Faro - FAOI always used to fly GB Airways to Faro, this was my first time with Easyjet on that route. We boarded on time and flight was only 50 per cent full. Cabin crew professional and Captain had an incredibly silky voice, I did ask the cabin crew if he came from GB, such a lovely voice... anyway back to the flight,,,,, I had the luxury of 3 seats which meant I could switch to the window seat but that was a tighter seat pitch, but after a small bottle of wine I didn't mind. Have to say, I really enjoyed the flight, we were warned of turbulence due to a tailwind - much shorter flight time, but the captain kept us informed and there was a great sense of his concern for our well-being, it just made all the difference. The food was pretty good although I waited a long time for my heated baguette, when it came I couldnt eat it for some time.. so had to have more wine! The plane was spotless A319, and the crew were enthusiastic, and really seemed to enjoy their work. We landed 25 minutes early into Faro, very smooth landing which was handled by the co-pilot, who I believe was portuguese. When I disembarked, I thanked the crew and remarked on the Captain... I think I fell in love with his voice... whoever he was... well done!! | ||
