Very nice on time flights both ways from Washington to Durban, South Africa. The planes were new Airbus planes. From Washington to Durban, one stops for a change of planes in JNB. From Durban to Washington, one stops for a change of planes in JNB and then stops in Dakar in the middle of the night. There is no change of planes, but a major security check of the entire plane and then refueling on to Washington.

I was very pleased with my flight on South African Airways. The price was very good in comparison to other airlines, the planes were modern, the service excellent, and the flights were on time.

The only problem was that one of my bags was lost during the change of planes from Durban to JNB. It was located a day later and I received the bag two days later.
