Home > Turkish Airlines > 2008 > ReviewTaken 15 November 2008 from Brussels (Bruxelles) (National/Zaventem) - BRU to Delhi (Indira Gandhi International Airport) - DELI flew through Istanbul. The flight from Brussels to Istanbul (and return) was like in the good old days of flying. Metal knives - forks. Menu Carts. Food was really OK. Very good red wine (Turkish) Kind Waiters Lot of legroom on the 737-800. Flight from Istanbul to Delhi (and return) was with an older A310 but service was OK - food was very good and very important : so much leg space. The flight back was delayed for 1.5 hour. The only pity thing is that the announcements in flight were very poor or was it to keep us sleepy. Anyway, it was the first time I flew with Turkish Airlines through Istanbul (the airport is very good : not that huge as Heathrow or Frankfurt) The flight reminded me about the flights I took earlier with Swiss before it was bought over by Lufthansa. That time Swiss was the cheapest : now I took Turkish because it was the cheapest and I didn't regret at all. No I should advice it to everyone flying to Delhi. | ||
