I took Northwest Airlines from New York LaGuardia to Spokane with a quick connection in Minneapolis. This leg of the flight was quite punctual, and my arrival into Spokane was on time. I was highly disappointed at Northwest' cabin appearance. I was reminded of a Greyhound bus. Hopefully with the Delta takeover, there will be a significant revitalization of Northwest's fleet interior. Leaving from Spokane to New York LGA also included a stopover in Minneapolis. The weather was very bad. A great deal of snow everywhere. However, despite this, the flight left Spokane 40 minutes late, and left Minneapolis around 30 minutes late. Service on board, and cabin appearance was really pathetic. This flight wasn't incredibly cheap either, so I was hoping for a little bit of quality. My seat was unable to recline. I nearly missed my flight in Minneapolis because of the late arrival. Though I caught my flight, this resulted in Northwest taking my bag off that flight and placing it on another one. This had resulted in me waiting at the baggage carousel in New York longer than I had anticipated. Overall, the airline did its job in getting me to my destination in one piece. However, this airline needs to pay attention to passenger comfort.
