I travel at least three times a year to Cleveland and have only used Continental in the last three years. The flight from Heathrow was via Newark and flights were generally on time and fairly comfortable. The return (as was my trip in November) was terrible. We were delayed leaving Cleveland to Newark for two and a half hours which meant that we had a fair chance of missing our connecting flight to London. Staff at Cleveland were not very helpful with very sketchy information available. I was surprised that the same excuses were made for the delay as were made in September, namely fog, and Air Traffic Control problems in Newark. I asked customer services in Cleveland why the same excuses were being made and was told that nearly all flights to Newark after midday are late. I then asked why they continued to sell a three o'clock flight knowing it was never going to leave at that time. The answer was, "we keep telling the company about this problem, but no one ever listens to us". Doesn't help, I am afraid. When we finally arrived to board the flight to London we were told to hurry up as they were closing the door. Continental certainly know how to put a damper on a holiday. Breakfast was a really poor serving and it is obvious that they are cutting back on everything but the price of the ticket.
