Taken 20 September 2008 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Kingston (Norman Manley) - KIN

Flew with Thomas Cook from Manchester to Jamaica, in September. The flight out was delayed by about 50 minutes, which seems to be the norm for charter airlines.

Once on board, the new seating layout was a real surprise, there was lots of legroom, we had seats in two's at the rear of the plane.

The in flight movies system was good, with 3 to 4 films, but there could have been a bigger choice of films. The in-flight meals were average, they were hot and tasty, but OK… if you want first class food and no delays, don't be tight, pay double the amount and go with Virgin. It bugs me when people criticise charter airlines, but are too tight to pay the extra and go with Virgin. I have done both many times, and charter flights are good value, and as my mother always says.. you get what to pay for……

Anyway, the flight landed 10 minutes late in Kingston. All in all a very pleasant experience.
