Taken 12 July 2008 from Manchester, England (Ringway International Airport) - MAN to Sanford, FL (Central Florida Regional Airport) - SFB

Flew with Thomas Cook from Manchester to Orlando Sanford in July. We had a party of 10 people; 4 adults, 6 kids.

The flight out was delayed by about 30 minutes, which seems to be the norm for charter airlines.

Once on board the new seating layout was a real surprise. With 33" leg pitch, there was lots of legroom, we had 5 rows of seats, prebooked in two's at the rear of the plane, this helps if the children have to keep getting up to go to the toilet.

The in flight movies system was good, with 3 to 4 films, which was enough for the children, but there could have been a bigger choice.

The in-flight meals were average, they were hot and tasty, but OK…… the drinks were the usual items and costs… and the flight was very smooth and event free.

Thomas Cook are no different to any other charter carrier, they are prone to delays and their food and entertainment is adequate rather than spectacular…

Anyway the flight landed 5 minutes late in Sanford. The process to go through customs and car pickup was faultless, and took only 20 minutes from customs to driving out…… all in all a very pleasant experience.
