My partner and I travelling with two others flew out of Toronto to Punta Cana for a well deserved holiday. I have read some disturbing comments regarding the service provided by Skyservice and just thought I should comment on my experience. First of all we pre-selected our seats both ways. We received exactly what we had requested. Check in was quick and efficient. The flight down was on time and uneventful. The crew were very polite and helpful. The in-charge should have been a comedian he was that entertaining. The flight home was on-time. I cannot say that about the other two Canadian charter airlines that were due to leave at the some time. Transat, 2.5 hours and Sunwing 4 hours delayed. During the return flight a passenger become very ill. With what appeared to be heart problems. The crew were very well trained with providing first-aid. I am a Paramedic and cannot find any fault with the crew who attended to the situation. This airline also has a Defibrillator on-board, something that not all airlines carry. The aircraft was an older B757. The leg room was not great being 6 foot 3. I have been on older charter aircraft with much less legroom. In my opinion Skyservice is a rather good airline with great staff that are very well trained. What more could you want. The price is excellent for what you get. Good job Skyservice. |
