Taken 18 December 2008 from Orlando, FL (Orlando International Airport) - MCO to Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport) - LAX

1) On a recent trip from Orlando to LA with a stop over in Atlanta, I was offered an upgrade when I checked-in on-line. It was only about $95.00 for my wife and me so we did it. Of course, the upgrade offer was only for the one leg to Atlanta, but sure didn't appear that way on-line. I, in fact, was fully expecting that I was flying first class to LA. That was, in fact, indicated on our tickets. No nice people to explain their mistake.

2) On baggage check-in they pulled out a measure tape and found that both or our bags were 2 inches oversize. Something new to me. An extra $40.00 per bag to pay so that our luggage could go with us on our trip. Nice, huh!

3) When we got back from our trip, we picked up our luggage from the baggage claim and found that one of our bags had been destroyed, and I mean destroyed. When we called up Air Tran to discuss this and the other matters, we were informed that there was a 4 hours period within which you must make a claim for damage. No real apologies or any help at all. Air Tran Stinks.
