I had read some very bad reviews about Skyservice after I had already booked our vacation. I was expecting the worse and was happily surprised. We were leaving from Vancouver going to Huatulco Mexico through Signature Vacations. From the time we checked in until we landed everything went smoothly. We were travelling with 5 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. My carry on was over by a couple kg and they didn't charge me - it had baby bottles and food in it. On the way down we paid extra for Star Class which gives more leg room. It was very nice having the space with an infant on my lap. The crew was very pleasant and helpful. The food wasn't anything special but it was OK. We arrived happy and on time to our destination. On the way home, we were delayed about 45 min and then had to stop to drop off passengers in Calgary. We didn't have the Star Class seats on the way home so it was a bit cramped with the baby on my lap. I noticed that anyone over about 5'8" had there knees right up to the seat in front of them and bigger people were very squished in there seats. Some people complained they didn't get the seats they were suppose to. The crew was very pleasant and helpful until the switchover in Calgary - a new crew came on and they were not very pleasant or helpful but it was only an hour until we arrived back in Vancouver. Also, the Skyservice staff in Mexico could not understand a word of English so anyone needing to communicate with them was out of luck. (They didn't charge us for our checked luggage that was over 10kg over our limit) Overall, I was happy with Skyservice and would use them again.
