Taken 13 January 2009 from Vancouver, BC (Vancouver International Airport) - YVR to Whitehorse, YT (Whitehorse Airport) - YXY

Flew to Whitehorse for a conference. I usually travel with Air Canada, but a friend of mine told me to try Air North. The difference was like night and day!

The ground staff in Vancouver were terrific. Whitehorse wasn't bad either. The Vancouver crew went out of their way to assist me and were very personable.

The excess charge for my 3rd bag was only $31.50! Air Canada would have been at least triple that price!

I received a light meal on board that was actually included in the fare.

The only issue I found was the B737 aircraft was an earlier model, with very noisy engines. Sitting near the rear of the aircraft left me with ringing in my ears. Also, there's no in-flight entertainment.

In summary, the best airline I've flown with in years! I wish they had a bigger route network. I'd like to fly to Toronto with them. Air Canada could take lessons from these guys!
