Home > Continental > 2009 > ReviewTaken 4 March 2009 from Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport) - DFW to Bombay (Sahar (Santa Cruz) International Airport) - BOMI flew from Dallas to Newark and then on to Mumbai. Newark to Mumbai is non-stop so it is a very long flight. Nevertheless, it was comfortable on a 777 with good food and many choices of movies. Continental was one hour late getting from Dallas to Newark, but I was able to make my connection. The rest of the trip was exactly on time or slightly early. Very good airline. I think Continental is becoming the top American airline. I only wish it were possible for passengers to choose seating on flights more conveniently. I bought my ticket well in advance and was not able to choose seating on going to Mumbai until I got to the airport. I was able to choose seating over the Internet on the Mumbai-Newark part of the trip, but was not able to do so from Newark to Dallas which meant I got the dreaded middle seat. Other than that issue (which does not exist on United or American or Delta flights), Continental is first-rate. Continental has excellent connections to Mumbai as does Delta. As best I can tell, these are the two airlines with the best flights there. I chose Continental over Delta because I think it has a better frequent flyer program. | ||
