A clean but slightly battered business interior. The shell seats flattened to form a comfortable bed but parts of the arrangement were loose and shaky. My partner and I had two by the window and aisle. The plane left and arrived on time. The FAs were attentive and cheerful. Meal service was excellent with a good choice and we particularly liked the breads with olive oils. The wine was outstanding. In many years of flying I do not think I have ever tasted such a good selection and the notes which came with the wines were extremely informative and interesting. Snacks were available during this daytime flight. The return saw an aircraft which was in better internal shape and the shell beds provided a good night's sleep. Service was good and the dinner again was very good. The same wine list as the outward journey which provided an excellent nightcap. The plane was slightly late leaving Bogota but made up some time on the Atlantic crossing. Breakfast before landing was mediocre. Iberia has improved its act but, apart from the wine, the business class does not yet match that of British Airways or some of the Asian airlines. | ||
