This is a 70 passenger regional jet service that is nonstop from DFW to DCA. The plane arrived a few minutes early in Washington and arrived in Dallas nearly 20 minutes early. For a regional jet, the plane is comfortable. The US Air employees at the service desk and on the plane were very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. I liked that very much. I really dislike paying $15 each way to check my bag, though most airlines in the US now have that charge. This time I decided I would just carry my bag on board. Of course since this was a regional jet, there was not enough room to store the bag on board so it was checked at the gate. And, there was no charge for checking the bag at the gate.

The flight was quite expensive since I had to buy the ticket less than a week before the trip, but it was still much cheaper than American Airlines which is the only only nonstop from DFW to DCA. The schedule was also very convenient for me, although I think there are only 3 nonstops a day from DFW to DCA.
