I usually fly from LHR to Glasgow with British Airways but BMI came out cheaper. Checked in on line and was pleased to see that I could change my seat to just behind the premium cabin. As I only had hand baggage went through the security at Terminal 1 with no queue and arrived at the gate 30 minutes before dep to find that they had just commenced boarding. We pulled back 15 minutes early and took off on time. Pity you have to pay for everything on the flight but did not bother me as it is only an hours flight. Landed 25 minutes early. on my return I could not change my seat on line. Left 5 minutes late but arrived 10 minutes early at LHR. Very pleased with the flights, particularly with the punctuality. Provide excellent alternative to BA.
