Hi All, I booked a package holiday for my wife and i. We flew from Ireland west airport knock. I was relieved when I saw this very fresh looking aircraft pull in to take us. It was an airbus A321 I believe. I have been on some horrific pieces of scrap before. The take off was on time and landing was exact. The crew were very friendly and pilot very professional. I'm a nervous passenger and found the landing both in faro and back in knock to be perfect. I could hardly feel the touchdown. I would recommend monarch to anybody. I was surprised to find Irish crew on board. Most of the time the crew of these charter have very poor english and through no fault of their own, find it difficult to deal with passengers. Return flight landed 10 minutes early. There was no in flight film or earphones provided but I didn't mind as I had my i-pod.
