At the last second, the gate agent came on board and told me one of the passengers had decided to remain in Vegas; therefore, I got seat 2A instead of 5D.

Service began with drinks and chips, mix trail. This was followed by a grilled chicken and penne pasta served hot on real china. Only the glasses were plastic.

Some turbulence over Colorado, but over all the flight was great. And the view of Chicago at night was not to be believed.

Excellent F/A in first class, and my valet checked bag was out in less than 5 minutes. Great job USAirways. Now if only it could be this great when I fly to/from Philadelphia.
