Pearson - YYZI've never had any major problems with Sunwing before this flight, I've flown with them several times previous and was never quite impressed with it either. This was definitely my final flight with Sunwing. We were returning from a great vacation in Punta Cana, with a little more than an hour remaining on our flight back home to Toronto everyone was quiet in their seats. One attendant was rushing through the aisle with hot coffee (second time I saw her doing this on the same flight, I noted the first time the horrible service, but I couldn't really be bothered - you get what you pay for). Right before she reached our seat, she had tripped, turned around to yell at a sleeping man to remove his foot from the aisle and ran back to the service station.. paying no attention to the fact that all of that hot coffee had just been poured all over my boyfriend and the lady sitting behind us. We waited assuming she would be running back with apologies and a fresh shirt, towel.. something? Nothing. Curious, I looked back only to see her complaining to another attendant about her misfortune. I rang the bell as I was looking back in disbelief only to find her response was a dirty look and a slamming of the curtain. By her reaction to me dinging for assistance, it was obvious she was very aware of what she had just done. A few minutes later a different attendant came to our assistance, she had apologized, but still the other girl refused to come out. I have never been so insulted in my entire life. This service was actually disgusting. My boyfriend had a burn on his back for about a month, the exact shape as the coffee stain that had ruined his shirt. Talking to the other passengers, one just yelled at for no reason that was his fault, others asking if my boyfriend was okay (not once did any of the staff do this!) we agreed to all call in and complain about this girl the next day. Turns out, you can't. Any complaints have to be written by e-mail and need 6-8 weeks for an investigation. 8 weeks is up, still nothing. Thanks Sunwing! | ||
