As a mileage plus member I was disappointed to find I could not use my air miles to upgrade, also I feel United have now become a low cost airline, now when using the automated check in, you have to pay more just to request an aisle or window seat, and if you decline this the airline allocates your seat at the gate. Flight to Chicago left on time, a water pipe was ruptured to the galley and toilets so there was no running water on the plane so no hot drinks were available and no water to wash your hands in the lavatories just hand sanitizers. Return flights were better and did manage to get an upgrade to economy plus but feel United will lose a lot of their regular customers if they don't change there check in procedures.
